We are proud to be a family-run company and today we are remembering June Stone, who many of our customers and suppliers will have met on countless occasions down the years.
Sadly, June died on June 28, leaving behind her a huge legacy within the history of our company from way back when our managing director, Mark Stone, set up his first street furniture company in 1988.
June was very well-known within the industry and our local community here in Derbyshire, having been the meeter and greeter whenever visitors arrived at our premises, as well as always offering words of advice and getting involved with whatever needed doing at the time.
Mark said: “June was a great listener and her glass was always half full. From when I started my first company, she was always on hand to answer the phone, make the sandwiches and was the queen of the bottomless kettle.
“Her lovely cups of tea and her love of the garden and the great outdoors is something that everyone connected to Securiscape will remember.”
